This is BY FAR, the best fish in Dushanbe, and one of the best restaurants in town. Always get the trout, and try it both fried and on the grill - both are magnificent.
Great fish restaurant - they do lots of other food as well. Recommend the grilled trout. Lovely to sit beside the river during the summer. Very good service and very popular with local diners.
i liked it. Its comfortable inside, and the fish was tasty. the thing that i liked much was salat "Caesar". In most cafes i have been, and there salats are either a little bit salty, or not salty enough. Here it was just perfect. The view at late evening is beautiful. Its located next to a river, and the breach with lights give a different impression. Though i am not sure about its pricing. We had a collective dinner with colleagues, So i didnt have a chance to clearify it.
You have to reserve table before coming, otherwise you will not be able to get a seat. Overall good atmosphere with a sound of lake nearby. Food is fine. Recommend
Love the food and the atmosphere. Great place to go for a date with your loved one. It has room to sit outside by the river or inside rooms with sofas and TV. Lastly, order salmon when you get a chance to eat at the place, it is of the best in the city if not the best!
Forel is a wonderful place to enjoy tastey food in beautiful surroundings. We came for a friend's birthday and it did not disappoint. But I've also been here with my husband before. In the fall and spring the weather is perfect for sitting on their patio with willow trees by the river. The inside is equally pretty. The food is also delicious. Best fish I've had in Tajikistan. My husband also enjoys the steak. The salads are fresh and tastey. To top it all off you can enjoy some yummy gelato for dessert. Highly recommend!
The place is good with grilled and fried fresh trout fish, tasty fish soup, delicious local food, fresh and seasonal ingredients, amazing views of Dushanbe River with much refreshing environment and cool water flowing by your side while you have your food, simply majestic place! The staff are also friendly, but service still need to be further improved! Theres always room for improvement in service!
May be the best meal I've had in Dushanbe. Had the trout (of course). With perfectly seasoned and grilled fresh water trout it's hard to go wrong, but the level of expertise on the grill made it an extra special dish. I had my meal upstairs on the open porch with a powerful river roaring right beside me. Great place to eat here. Highly recommend!
Trout on BBQ is the best choice - and of course local tomatoes...Around is fresh air, speady river and nice look
My last night in Dushanbe I went to this restaurant and its as if I saved the best for last. The food was impeccable and they even have one server who speaks english which was a plus for me. This will be a night to remember.
